5th July 2016 - Eid-Milan: Eid-ul -Fitr is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It marks the end of Ramzan, which is a month of fasting and prayer. The Students will make beautiful Cards to learn about the festival. They need to come Traditionally Dressed. Parents need to send ‘Sweet Vermicelli’ for their child to share and enjoy the festival.
8th July 2016 – Refreshing Salad:Salad is an amazing treat to the taste buds. It plays an important role in any meal. Indian food and Indian meals are incomplete without serving healthy salad dishes. That’s why salad is considered as a “King or Prince of the Menu”. The Students will prepare refreshing Fruit Salad. They need to bring chopped seasonal fruits, 1 lemon, salt and pepper.
14th July 2016 - Mango Fiesta & Pool Party: Mango, full of nutrients, flavor, sweetness; is considered as King of Fruits. There are different varieties of mangoes relished by people. The Students need to come dressed in Yellow colour clothes. Each one to bring a Mango and Swimming Costume for the pool party.
15th July 2016- Inter School Painting Competition: Working with their pencils and colours, unleashing their creative thoughts and ideas to be spread out on the Drawing Sheets, the painting competition will be a platform to bring together budding artists to showcase their talent. The Inter School Competition will be held in the month of August for Classes Nursery- XII.The Students can participate in any one activity of their choice from the category they belong. If they choose the Art & Craft Theme, they need to carry material for the same. The Preliminary Round will be held on 15th July 2016. The finalist of the Preliminary Round will represent the School at the Inter School Competition.

5th July 2016: Special Assembly – EId-Ul–Fitr – Classes (VI – VIII): Eid-ul -Fitr is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It marks the end of Ramzan, which is a month of fasting and prayer. A Special Assembly will be conducted by the Students of Class V A & B.
8th July 2016: Reader’s Choice – Classes (I – V): Books play an important role in our lives. They demand nothing from us and in return they give us joy. They take us into a different world of imagination .The Students and teachers need to bring a book of their choice which they will read in class during DEAR time.
11nd July 2016: Role Play (Doctor Doctor) – Classes (I – V):Role-play can take many different forms and serve as many purposes. It is a powerful way of developing social skills. The Students will come dressed in the costume of people/things they see in the hospital (Doctor, Nurse, Patient, Medicine, Medical Equipments etc.) and will conduct a Role Play to mark the world Doctor’s Day..
14th July 2016- Tongue Twister - Classes (II – V):
Betty Botter bought some butter
But she said the butter’s bitter
If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter
But a bit of better butter will make my batter better
So ‘twas better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter
Tongue twisters are a great way to practice and improve pronunciation and fluency. They can also help to improve accent by using alliteration, which is the repetition of one sound. The Students need to learn any one tongue twister and recite it in the Class. The parents need to prepare their ward for the activity.

21st July 2016- Visit To Ice-Cream Factory - Classes (I – V):
Experiential learning is an important aspect of The Millennium Learning System. The Students will be taken on a field trip to Ice-Factory on 21st July 2016 during School hours. The children will visit the factory in proper School Uniform with their I Cards. Parents are requested to fill up the Consent Form. Parent approval will not be accepted over the telephone.

12th July 2016- Snapshots - Classes (VI – VIII):Web is considered as a deep ocean of information and each website as a wave that you can surf on. The Students will search various websites and collect information on the following sectors: Travel and Tourism, Banking, Schools, Hospitals, Automobiles. The Students will also take the screenshots of the home page of the particular websites and will share in their respective classes.
14th July 2016 – Price Is Right – Classes (VI – VIII): To sensitize the Students to a variety of products and the reason for their retail price tags, will do Price Is Right a group activity in the class. The Students will gather information about any particular product that they will research such as coffee, juice, biscuits, etc. The group needs to analyze and compare the retail price information of the products and display it through a comparison chart.
23st July 2016 - My Outburst – Classes (VI – VIII): To manage emotions of a child development of self-regulation skills, resilience, sense of self, nurturing their mental health and wellbeing is important. This activity will provide a learning opportunity for children to identify and express their emotions through paragraph writing (Happy, Sad and Challenging moments).
