Principal’s Message

All of us are life-long learners and Learning is a never ending process. Learning requires an interested learner-the student and better interested facilitator- the teacher. A perfect pedagogy, properly oriented facilitator and an engaging atmosphere that promotes quality education are key ingredients in the learning process.

As vast amount of knowledge and information is just a few clicks away, our expectations from children have increased manifold. However, the main goal of the learning process in a classroom is not to overload the child’s mind with information but rather to inculcate in them a desire to learn, to allow students to Learn by Doing (Experiential Learning) and to aid Competency Based Learning.

The inherent sense of curiosity in a child needs to be triggered, encouraged and nurtured at all  times. At Takshila School, we provide such learning experiences which boost students’ confidence as they learn through their own peculiar learning styles

Use of technology has become an essential teaching tool. Not only to keep the children abreast of what they would anyway have to deal with in future, but also to ensure that most of the time is not spent in cramming facts and figures.

Let us all join hands and work together towards our common goal of nurturing healthy, sensitive and responsible young citizens who will make us all really proud as they grow into admirable human beings.
