Dear Parents /Guardians,
Greetings from The Millennium Team!
The New Session brings an air of excitement and it is the time when each one of us enter the portals of the School with a new Dream and Hope. It promises a lot of events and activities for the children which cater to their Holistic Development. The unique Millennium Learning System trains children to widen their intellectual boundaries and enjoy the freedom to experiment. Each month a series of activities will be conducted for the students to showcase their inner potential.

Month –April &May
Classes- (I-V)
22nd April 2015- Earth Day- Earth Day is celebrated to create awareness about the need to save our planet EARTH and thank nature for all its bounties. A series of activities will be conducted to celebrate the Special Day. A Special Assembly will be organized by the students to mark the occasion.

Earth Rangoli Class -I):The students will celebrate Earth Day in their own unique style. They will make Earth Rangoli in School to show their love and respect for the Mother Earth.
Ø
Table Mat Making (Class II)- The students will make a Table Mat and write a message to save the planet Earth.
Ø
Collage Making (Class III):Collage is a technique of a creating a new Whole. The students will make Collage in a group on the occasion of Earth Day . Students need to bring pictures related to Earth for the activity.
Ø
2D Wall Hanging (Class IV ) : The students will enhance their creative skills and will make a 2D Wall Hanging. The material for the activity will be provided in School.
Ø
Plantation Drive (Class V) : To build a sustained future the students will participate in a Plantation Drive. Each child to bring a pot (size 8x6 inches) with any sapling of Annual Plants like Marigold, Sadabahar , etc. to be planted in School.
27th April 2015 to 30th April 2015 – X Factor Hunt (Class I-V): A Talent Hunt activity will be conducted, to provide an opportunity to each child perform on any activity of their choice for e.g. Acting/dancing/music-instrumental or vocal/poems/rhymes etc. Parents are requested to help their ward for the same.

1st May 2015 – May Day -Honouring Our Helping Hands : Labour Day or May Day is celebrated to honor the Support Staff. It is indeed true, that the School cannot function without their support and contribution. A Special Assembly will be organized to mark the occasion . Each class will prepare a Snack in School for all the Support Staff . The list of ingredients for the same will be sent shortly by the Class Teacher.
6th May 2015 Drizzling Land (Class I&II): To beat the heat kids Pool Party with many Water Games and Fun Activities will be organized in School. Parents need to send some healthy snacks along with chopped fruits and vegetables rich in water content (watermelon, cucumber, orange, muskmelon, litchi) for their ward to enjoy the party.
8th May 2014 Field Trip (Class I-V) - Field trips provide hands-on, sensory experiences that are perfect for enhancing and extending the knowledge of children. The School plans to take the students to a FRUIT ORCHARD . Please send the Consent form duly filled by 1st May.
13th May 2015 Mango Mania (Class III-V): Mango Mania has been organized for the students to celebrate the season of King of Fruits ‘MANGO’. Some interesting activities have been planned for them.
- Class III will have a Mango Race .Parents need to send one mango and an apron .
- Class IV students will prepare a Mango Delight in School.The list of ingredients for the preparation of Mango Delight will be sent by the Class Teacher.

Class V students need to gather information on varieties of Mango. The Facilitator will help the students to prepare a Power Point Presentation with their peers in School.
