Activities for the month:

3rd September 2015: Janamashtami: Special Assembly (Class I-V) To celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna i.e Janamashtami, a Special Assembly will be conducted by the Students.They will decorate Matkis to mark the occassion. The material for the same will be provided by the School.

4th September 2015: Teacher’s Day: Special Assembly: (Class I-V): 5th September is the birthday of the First President of India and above all a great Teacher, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. This day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day, a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers for the society. They play a pivotal role in shaping the future citizens of the Country A Special Assembly will be conducted to honour the teachers and show gratitude and appreciation towards them.

7thSeptember 2015-14th September 2015: Hindi Week (Class I-V):Hindi Diwas will be celebrated to show the significance and importance of Hindi. It is an initiative to ensure mass participation of the children to make them self-reliant and productive individuals in various literary activities, which would enhance their ability to express themselves confidently in Hindi.

Topics For Hindi Recitation: Meri Adhyapika, Mera Desh, Meri Maa, Mera Vidhalaya & Prakriti (Vriksha, Nadi, etc.). Select any one topic for the same.

Note: The poem should not be from the course book.

The Students of Classes I&II are supposed to learn a poem of 8-10 lines and students of Classes III must learn a poem of 10-15 lines. No extra marks will be given for the props. They need to come in their School Uniform.

8th September 2015: National Literacy Day- (Classes III-IV): International Literacy Day is observed Worldwide on September, 2015.It aims to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies. It focuses on the link between Literacy and Peace. A Special Assembly will be conducted to mark the occasion.

 14th September 2015: Culmination Of Hindi Week: (Class I-V):  A Special Assembly will be conducted.

21st September 2015: My Idea Of Peace (Class IV-V):The International Day of Peace is observed annually on 21September. It is dedicated to World Peace, specifically to strengthen the ideals of Peace, both within and among Nations and people. A Special Assembly will be conducted to mark the occasion. A series of activities will be conducted to spread the message of peace.

Activities for the day:

Classes I-III -The Students will develop their aesthetic skills by making Peace Candles. The material for the same will be provided in the School.

Classes IV-V: Intra School Radio Show-Peace Day The Students will participate in an Intra-Class Radio Show Competition. This is a medium through which they can spread awareness of Peace and Brotherhood. The Facilitators will guide the Students for the same.

24th September 2015: Id-Ul-Zuha (Classe I-II): Id-ul-Zuha (Bakr-Id), which is also known as Eid al-Adha or Id-ul-Adha, is a festival that many Muslims celebrate with special prayers, greetings and gifts. A Special Assembly will be conducted by the Students to mark the occassion.

30th September 2015: Polka Dots Party (Class I&II): It’s time to have fun. Students need to wear a dress with Polka Dots. Parents are requested to send some yummy snacks(round in shape) in the lunch box to help their ward enjoy the  Party
