The Prime Minister in his address on ‘Man Ki Baat’ laid stress on the agenda of Road Safety.Keeping this agenda in mind, Road Safety Awareness Programme was initiated with enthusiasm on August 19, 2015 by the students of The Millennium School, Meerut, at many   places in the city. The aim was to sensitize people about the need of road safety.

Students from classes VI - XI actively participated in the campaign. They conveyed their messages through banners & placards. Students distributed roses & chocolates to the on road travelers who were following traffic rules. The people who travelled in an unprofessional way were requested to use road safety measures and follow traffic rules by giving them informative leaflet & roses.

The mega drive successfully culminated with an appeal to different stakeholders like community, health sector, police, legal sector, public agencies, educational institutions etc to put in their sincere efforts and to all the commuters to adhere the traffic rules for the sake of their safety.
