Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, the unconditional love of mothers and their influence in society. Mothers are our guiding force and are responsible for making us who we are and to generate this special feeling in our students and to give them a chance to show this to their mothers, The Millennium School invited all the mothers to celebrate Mother’s Day on 9th May, 2014. The celebration started with the morning assembly prayer followed by the lighting of lamp by principal mam and was followed by various events. Through different activities, the students were reminded of their mother’s contribution to their lives and though they may not show it every day, they were happy to get an opportunity to express their love and admiration to their mother on the special day in form of Songs and Dance. The highlight of the event was the act presented by students of Class I who dressed up as couples of different societies and said “I Love you Mom” in their unique and innocent style. Mother’s also cherished the informative session regarding the unique Millennium Learning System which is committed towards nurturing the inherent potential of each child to make them lifelong learners and eventually leaders for tomorrow.
