Inter School Painting Competition - Kaleidoscope Of Colours 2014
Continuing with the trend of conducting different competitions to showcase the enlivened fanciful talent and creativity of the students, THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOL hosted the Inter School Painting Competition, Kaleidoscope Of Colours on July 31, 2014 with great exuberance and enthusiasm. The students of several schools including the host school partook in the competition. Mr. Pintu Mishra, Principal at Subharti University and Director Of Pintu School Of Arts, Meerut graciously consented to judge the competition. The competition was divided into five categories. The first category comprising of colouring was for the students of class Nursery to Kindergarten. The tiny- tots gleefully participated and exhibited their talent. The students of classes I to III participated in the second category comprising of different themes such as “My Favourite Cartoon”, “Fruit Basket”, “Festival”. In the third category , students of classes IV to VI participated and made mellifluous paintings on the different themes such as “ Our Space Shuttle Mangalyaan IN Mars”, “ My Favourite Holiday Destination”, “ When I grow up I will……..”.The fourth category comprising of three themes like” Dances Of India”, “ My Favourite Game”, “ CityScape”. The fifth category again comprising of three themes such as “ Our Heritage”, “Fifa” “Child Labour” included the students of classes IX and X. The students unleashed their creativity on the drawing sheets.
The event came to a close with the result declaration. In the first category, the first prize was bagged by_Abhishek Kumar of Heritage Academy and the second prize was won by Naina of DMI Maple Bear and Kashish of Millennium Public School was given the consolation prize. The first prize in the second category was by Subhashree of The Millennium School and Shresth Pandey of Heritage Academy was given the second prize and Arjun Dixit of Mahaveer Academy was given the consolation prize. In the third category the first prize was won by Anika Prajapati of The Millennium School and Avni of Heritage Academy was given the second prize and Neharika Dhawan of The Millennium School was given the consolation prize and the first prize was bagged by Gunjan of Heritage Academy and Rishika of Translam Academy second prize in the fourth category and Vaibhav Chamla The Adhayan was given the consolation prize in the same category. In the fifth category the first prize was won by Shreyans Jain of Delhi Public School and Mansi of Millennium Public School was given the second prize and Ashutosh Yadav of Delhi Public School was given the consolation prize in the same category. The overall trophy was bagged by Heritage Academy.
The Honourable Judge , Mr. Pintu Mishra and the esteemed Principal , Ms. Madhu Tondon appreciated the budding talents for their zealous participation and motivated them by their words of wisdom that winning or loosing doesn’t make any difference only participation counts.
In the vote of thanks , the Academics Co-ordinator Ms. Rachna Sharma thanked the participating schools for making the event a roaring success.
