Warm Greetings!

Here comes the festive season, the month of  October along with more fun and excitement. This month will witness lots of fun-filled activities and celebrations.

Theme of the month: Shapes

Classes : Little Millennium

Activities of the Month:

1^st Oct 2015 Gandhi Jayanti: (Gandhi Ji K Teen Bandar)-‘ De Di Humein Azadi Bina Khadag Bina Dhaal, Sabar Mati Ke Sant Tune Kar Diya Kamaal’ . A Special Assembly will be conducted to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi .

The Students will complete the picture of Mahatma Gandhi with the cutouts given to enhance their observational skills .

4^th October 2015 Construct with shapes:  An activity will be organized, where the Students will make complete object/drawing using different shapes.

13^th October Navratri Special: Navaratri is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. 

To develop self- help skills and awareness of the Indian festivals,  the Students with the help of their Facilitators will  prepare‘Shondesh’(Sweet Dish) on the occasion of Durga Puja.

15^th October  Global Hand Wash  Day- Bubble Buddies: Each year on October 15, over 200 million people are involved in celebrations in over 100 countries around the World. Hand- washing with soap is among the most effective and inexpensive ways to prevent diseases. Global Hand- washing day aims to motivate children to take on the role of hand-washing ambassadors. The students need to carry a paper soap/sanitizer to School to learn and develop proper hand- washing practice.

20^th October Global Dignity Day -Live With Pride: Every Country, School and Classroom has different ways to discuss Dignity. However, we at TMS will celebrate this Special Day in our unique way.

Card Making Activity :The Students will make a card for the Support Staff of the School to make them feel how important they are. The children will learn that everybody in the society has a right to live with ‘Dignity’. The material for the same will be provided by the School.

27^th October Fill the bin: To sensitize the Students about cleanliness and to make them aware about their social responsibility , Students will clean and arrange their classrooms and lockers. They need to bring a duster for the same.
