Classes- Little Millennium

6th October 2016 - Visit to A Restaurant: TMS believes in the philosophy that Learning is Doing. The School has organized a Field Trip for the students. They will visit a restaurant. The trip is planned during the School hours. Parents are requested to send the duly filled consent form by 4th October 2016. The students need to bring Rs. 50/- to purchase a meal for themselves.

7th October 2016 – Navratri Special: Dandiya Raas is a special feature of the Navratri festival. A ‘Stick Dance’ will be organized for the children. They need to come dressed in Traditional Indian Dresses (Ghagra Choli /Kurta & Pyjama). They will also do the worksheet to complete the face of Goddess Durga with the given cutouts.

28th October 2016 – Diwali Celebration - Diwali is the time when people send Diwali greetings to their near and dear ones. The Students will prepare Handmade Card for their family. Students need to come dressed in traditional Indian dress for Diwali Celebration. Parents need to send the following material for the ‘Laddoo Making Activity’: Condensed Milk, Coconut Powder and Chopped Nuts.(Serving for 1).

Classes- I-V        

7th October 2016Diya & Envelope Decoration: Festivals infuse refreshing air in our life.They also gives us an opportunity for doing creative work. The Students of Classes I –III will decorate diyas and the Students of Classes IV-V will make envelopes. The material for the same will be provided by the School.

17th October 2016 – Royal Rumble Rail - ISA Activity (Classes IV & V):

To familiarize the Students about the Railway Networking in different countries, following activities will be conducted in the class.

Class IV- The Students will study the history of railways in India & Japan and prepare a timeline chart. Also they will compare the Railway Networking in these countries and prepare a T-Chart.

Class V- The Students will study the history of railways in India & China and prepare a timeline chart. Also they will compare the Railway Networking in these countries and prepare a T-Chart.    

24th October 2016 Ways To Say Hello (Classes I –V):The simple word ‘Hello’ can help to connect with different people irrespective of caste, colour, creed or language of the world. The Parents need to help their ward to learn to say ‘Hello’ in any 4 different languages of the world/Country.

The activity will be done in the Class. The Students will sit in a circle and play a game by passing a multilingual "Hello" around the group. They will greet the child sitting to their right, and end when the greeting comes back around to them. The Students will also prepare a Flash Card and display in the class.

28th October 2016: Special Assembly-Festival of Lights (Classes I–V) -To celebrate the victory of righteousness, a Special Assembly will be conducted by the Students of Class I.

Classes- VI - XII       

26th October 2016 Rangoli Making (Classes VI –VIII):

Rangoli' is a Sanskrit word which means a creative expression of art through the use of color. The main purpose of making rangolis in diwali is to welcome Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth. The Students will design a beautiful combination of various colors, to create an enchanting piece of art.

17th & 24th October 2016– Mock Elections – ISA Acyivity (Classes VI – VIII):

The aim of the activity is to apprise the Students about the different forms of Government and modes of Selection of the representatives. The activity will be done by the Students in the Class under the guidance of their facilitators.

17th October 2916 - The Students will plan for the process of voting.  The Students will prepare brochures for campaigning in the Mock Elections.

24th October 2016 – Mock Election Day

October 2016 Vedic Math Fun (Classes IX –X):Vedic Mathteaches the Indian Vedic methods to solve complex problems easily. Learning to perform fast Mental Math calculation will help the Students immensely irrespective of which field of life they deal with. The Math facilitators will demonstrate few tricks for easy calculations and the Students will solve a worksheet using those tricks.

October 2016 Special Assembly – UN Day (Classes IX –X): United Nations Day is devoted to make people know the aims and achievements of the United Nations Organization. A Special assembly will be conducted by the Students of Class IX.
