Activities for the month:

7th November 2015: Special Assembly-Festival of Lights (Classes I–V) -To celebrate the victory of righteousness, a Special Assembly will be conducted by the Students of Class IV.

17th November 2015: English Recitation Competition (Classes I-II)

Recitation is practiced as a Performing Art. Parents need to help their ward to learn a poem of 8 to 9 lines and recite it in the Class. They need to come in their School Uniform. They will be assessed on the Content, Presentation and Pronunciation.

18th November 2015: Calligraphy (Classes I-V)

Calligraphy requires perfect technical and Artistic Skills. It’s an initiative to ensure that Students learn to write beautifully.

Classes I – II will write their name beautifully on an A4 size sheet in the School as demonstrated by the Facilitator.

Classes III – V will write a quotation on an A4 size sheet in the School as demonstrated by the Facilitator.

Material  for the same will be provided by the School.

20th November 2015: We Are Rockstars!!-Karaoke Activity (Classes I-V) - Karaoke Singing allows even a shy Student to perform in front of an audience confidently. To get the vocal cords ready and celebrate the fun activity, Students will read the lyrics displayed on the screen and sing aloud together.

 

21st November 2015: Spellathon (Classes I-V) –To enhance the vocabulary of the Students, ‘Spellathon Activity’ will be conducted. Parents need to help their ward to revise all the Spellings of English and EVS.

23th November 2015: English Creative Writing (Classes I-V) - Writing creatively boosts Critical Thinking Skills. It is the gift of giving students a new way to look at themselves which will enhance their ability to express.

The Students need to choose any one topic and come prepared for the activity.
