Activities for the month:
16th – 21st November 2015: Math Week (Classes VI – VIII) - Math Week will be celebrated to enhance the Mathematical and Computing Skills of the students.
A series of activities will be conducted during the week.
16th November Figure Me Out (Class VI) – Students will use simple Mathematical Calculations to figure out the unknown number. Worksheet for the activity will be provided in the School.
17th November: World of Digits (Class VII) – Students will collect data about 2 digit numbers in 2 Indian and 2 foreign languages. They will make a Poster in School using the information gathered.
18th November: Sudoku (Class VI) – The Students will develop their Logical Skill by solving Sudoku in the Class.
19th November: Truth & Lie (Class VII) – Students will state two Truths and two Lies about a Geometrical Shape given to them in the Class.
20th November: Treasure Hunt (Class VIII) – The real treasureis in the hunt. The Students will decode a message using Mathematical Calculations and finally find the hidden treasure.
21st November: Culmination of Math Week (Class VIII) – The Students will display the activities on the board done during the Math Week.
25th November 2015: Poet’s Corner (Classes VI- VIII) - Poetry reaches audiences as a distinct literary Art Form for several important reasons. To convey and share some of the similar characteristics of prose (tone, setting, mood, characterization, etc.), the students will prepare a Role Play on their favourite Poet.
