Activity Circular for the Month of December 2016-17

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Theme Of the month: Transport

Month – December

Classes- Little Millennium

16th December 2016 – Traffic Lights: The Students will enhance their knowledge by learning the importance of certain basic traffic signs so that they can stay safe. Traffic lights and other signs are actually great fun for students, and learning to identify them can connect their learning with the real world.

21st December 2016- Visit To A Church: Experiential learning is an important aspect of The Millennium Learning System. The Students will be taken on a field trip to the Church on 21st  December 2016 during School hours .The children have to be dressed in proper School Uniform. The Parents need to send the Consent form by 20th December 2016.

22nd December 2016 –My Christmas Tree: To enhance Creative Skills the Students will prepare a Christmas tree to know more about  the Festival. The material for the activity will be provided by the School. The Students need to come dressed in red/ white dress with a Santa cap.

Classes- I-.V

21st December 2016- Visit To A Church -Classes I-III: Experiential learning is an important aspect of The Millennium Learning System. The Students will be taken on a field trip to the Church on 21st December 2016 during School hours .The children have to be dressed in proper School Uniform. The Parents need to send the Consent form by 20th December 2016.

22nd December 2016-Christmas Special Assembly-Classes I-V- Christmas day is a day of merrymaking and joy. It is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. A Special Assembly will be conducted by Students of Classes III-IV to celebrate the occasion. The Students need to come dressed in red/ white dress with a Santa cap.

22nd December 2016 –Christmas Paper Craft - Classes I-II- To enhance Creative Skills the Students will prepare a Christmas Paper Craft to know more about the Festival. The material for the activity will be provided by the School. 

22nd December 2016 – Christmas Wall Hanging-Classes IV-V-To enhance Creative Skills the Students will prepare a Wall Hanging to know more about the Festival. The material for the activity will be provided by the School.

Classes- VI-XI

14th December 2016- Special Assembly on Human Rights Day -Classes IX-X- The Human Rights Dayis celebrated to improve the Physical, Social, Cultural and Spiritual well being and welfare of people globally. A Special Assembly will be conducted by Students of Classes IX- X to celebrate the occasion.

16th December 2016 –Indo-Egyptian Strokes- ISA Activity- Classes VI-VIII- To appreciate the diversity of culture & to know about the history of Egyptian Art the Students will prepare the Egyptian Crowns. The Students need to bring 2 glitter sheets of A4 size and 1 meter satin ribbon of any colour.

20th December 2016 –Mind Map- Classes VI-VIII:A mind map is a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts. It is a visual thinking tool that helps structuring information, help us to analyze, comprehend, synthesize, recall and generate new ideas. The Students will prepare a mind map to reinforce a concept taught in the class.. The topic for the Activity will be allotted by their respective Science Facilitators.

21st December 2016 –Wrap A Gift- Classes VI-VIII: The Students will wrap a gift to learn and practice the basic procedure of wrapping while using their creative flair.The  Parents need to send an empty  box of any size along with a wrapping sheet for the activity.

 

26th – 28th December 2016 – Global Amnesia-ISA Activity- Classes-IX-XI: To study the Causes and Effects of Pollution in India, U.S.A and China, A series of a activities will be conducted-

26th December 2016- Class-XI: The Students will organize a seminar on Causes of Pollution and corrective measures to control it.

27th December 2016- Class-IX: The Students will organize a Quiz based on the seminar conducted by class XI.

28th December 2016- Class-X: The Students will prepare Blogs on Causes, Effects and Disaster Management Techniques.
