The 66th Republic Day was celebrated at Takshila school, Muzaffarpur with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Principal Mrs Shalini Kumari hoisted the tricolor and motivated the students with inspiring words. She emphasized on the value of honesty towards one’s duty.
Prof. Vijay Kumar Sharma was the Guest of Honour . In his speech he defined the term ‘Republic’ clearly and conveyed its importance. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shahi anchored the program. His inspiring speech boosted the children’s morale. Talking about the significance of the Republic day, Ravindra of class VIII, Shikha of class VII and Ujjawal of class II gave short speeches in English, whereas Priyesh of class VII spoke in Hindi.
Saumya, Swati, Aman, Prachi, Naman, Subham and Aditya presented the patriotic songs ‘Vande Matram’ And ‘ Lahra Raha Gagan Mein Apna Tiranga Pyara’. Anjalika, Akriti, Isha, Prachi, Priyesh, Rahul, Rohit, Sahil and Deepak danced gracefully on a melodious song.
Mr Parimal Kumar proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the celebrations.
