The National Mathematics Day was celebrated at Takshila School Muzaffarpur in the memory of the great mathematician of India Ramanujam Aiyanger on his birth anniversary. On this occasion a Math Quiz Competition was organized among the selected students of class 6th, 7th and 8th . There were four groups, each containing three members.

The group members were as under

Group A –
1. Saumya Shandilya Class 6th
2. Anurag Kumar class 8th
3. Kanistha Singh Class 7th

Group B -
1. Ravindra Ranjan Class 8th
2. Aditya Raj Class 7th
3. Prachi Priya Class6th

Group C -
1. Sonal Raj Class 8th
2. Amritanshu Class 7th
3. Priyanshu Ranjan Class 6th

Group D -
1. Shiwangi Choudhary Class 7th
2. Sarthak Bhardwaj Class 6th
3. Rohit Raj Class 8th

There were eight rounds in all. After the final round the scores were:

D       35

On the basis of the total score Team “D” was declared the winner. This competition was held under the guidance of our Maths Teacher Mr. Manoj Kumar.

Mr. Amritanj Indiwar and Mr. Parimal Kumar were the Time keeper and Scorer respectively.

Our honourable Principal Mrs . Shalini Kumari concluded the event by motivating the children and advised them to enhance their knowledge and ability in Math, as this subject is an integral part of our life.
